Lectura no preparada: Students will receive a short text (same length as the narración memorizada) and will be given 5 minutes to look over the text and work on pronunciation. Then they will read the text (not memorized) to the judge. They will be evaluated on their ability to recognize and pronounce the text correctly.

Conversación: Questions will be prepared ahead of time but judges and event officials based on the level of Spanish speaking skills of the students. Students will be evaluated on their ability to answer the questions and carry on a conversation with the judge. Click HERE to see the evaluation criteria.
